Bear paws

My aunt Violette teached me how to sew bear paws and I decided to make a cushion for the little chair of the entrance.

I particularly love the sheeps fabric bought in England this summer and the Debbie Mumm's one with leaves, I visit her blog every morning and love her designs.

the checked fabrics seem cute but very limp and difficult to sew above all with these triangles...

When I sewed this cushion I always thought about seven years ago when in Yellowstone National Park my daughter and I ran after bears to take a picture in a big wood and people on the road shouting us not to go...
